The Balcony Day 3
Wednesday 21st May, 2008

Category:  House

Progress continues on the balcony. This morning when I went to my office this is what the main poles looked like;

The poles are hanging in the air:

Here's the view from the office this morning:

Around three o'clock this afternoon, I peeked out of the office (notice the beautiful day):

Late this afternoon, the poles no longer were hanging in the air:

This is what the side looks like (before next week when they install the stairs and railing):

And finally there's a hole designed for the tree... it will hopefully grow through the hole.

    floor of terrace

    Why are the slats turned upside down for the floor of the terrace, usually the ribbed side of the floor boards are turned up on the side on which you walk, these are turned down, and the floor boards you have to walk on are smooth, therefore slippy when it rains... I think they are installed upside down!!!!!!!
